Tioga Lake
We spent this last weekend camping at Yosemite again. All the campgrounds inside the park were full, so we stayed just outside the park in Inyo National Forest. It was a great experience as it allowed us to spend more time around Tuolumne Meadows and Tenaya Lake.
We had a great hike, seventeen miles to the top of El Capitan, but the photographic highlight was Tioga Lake’s sunrise. Watching the morning sun hit Mammoth Peak, nestled between Mount Dana and Gaylor Peak, and reflecting on the glass-like lake was amazing. I even got to say good morning to a coyote.
