Solar Eclipse

Today, I witnessed a pretty rare event: a solar eclipse. San Francisco wasn’t on the path of the total eclipse, so I didn’t know what to expect and certainly didn’t plan for it. Ultimately, as the moment approached, I grabbed the camera and joined my colleagues at the office window. I took advantage of the cloudy sky to dull the brightness and experimented with the camera settings. This shot was more down to luck than anything else, but it turned out better than expected.
