Martin’s Beach

Martin’s Beach in San Mateo County was a long drive for me, but definitely worth it. The beach is technically public, but as it’s surrounded by private land, it’s challenging to get to. Thanks to a generous tip-off from another Instagram user, I navigated a path to the beach. I arrived close to sunset and got some photos as the sky changed color. The beach was almost deserted, too, so watching the waves roll into a secluded bay with a giant arched rock ahead was a rare experience.
