Black Sands Beach

$225.00

Nestled well below the nearest road, Black Sands Beach exists between contrasting times. To the left, the suburbs of modern San Francisco catch the light, while the view of Point Bonita to the right could easily belong in a more distant era.

Image size: 18″x12″. This limited edition print, signed and numbered by the artist, is printed on 300gsm archival pigment paper, with an edition cap of 25.

The Collection
Our wilderness represents an extreme duality in perceptions. There’s tension in the very idea of public lands, but in this always-connected age there’s a deepening emotional divide in how humans experience nature. For some, these are beautiful, ecologically important spaces; to others, they are forbidding, desolate expanses. This print is part of the Extreme Duality collection, a series of black and white Californian landscapes exploring that balance.

Please note: This item is sold as a print only. For framed options or international shipping, please contact us. Framed prints are available from $370 plus postage and packaging. We can hand deliver framed prints in the Bay Area at no extra cost. Please allow 1–2 weeks for production and delivery.
