Texas

Whenever I have a chance to travel somewhere new in America, my first thought is always where the nearest national park is. Austin, where we were headed for a wedding, isn’t close to Big Bend in any regular terms, but for Texas, a seven-hour drive didn’t seem that bad. And it was definitely worth it for the chance to explore and take photos of the desert, the mountains, and the Rio Grande.
