Moss Landing

I’ve been down to Monterey Bay a handful of times this spring. I have one more trip scheduled, and I’ll post about the experiences soon. One of the side benefits of these visits has been spending time around Moss Landing and Elkhorn Slough. It’s been great to see nesting Brandt’s cormorants with their breeding colors on display, sea otters balancing northern kelp crabs on their bellies, and cliff swallows peaking out from their mud-constructed nests.
