Who Needs Light Anyway?

Some days, you see nothing; on others, you spot three bobcats. Yesterday was one of the latter. The weather was pretty miserable this weekend, and the sun barely peeped out from behind the clouds. Still, animals have to eat, so I figured there was still a chance they’d be out. The afternoon started slowly, barely seeing anything except a long-billed curlew and a poor hawk with one eye. When I was about to call it quits, I spotted a bobcat, which was only the first. Of the three, the cat above was my favorite. It was so relaxed around me, chilling in the open while I lay in the grass and took this photo.
